Premiums eliminated January 1, 2009. For low-income Albertans owing previous arrears and being considered for subsidized Alberta Blue Cross non-group coverage, Alberta Health and Wellness offers the Premium Subsidy Program. Albertans with lower incomes are encouraged to apply, which may reduce or eliminate their AHCIP premiums and provide eligibility for subsidized Alberta Blue Cross coverage. |
